Is there a gps tracker that she can stay in backpack that will show me at home where is located?

My 28 yr old daughter is going hiking and camping by herself cross country (US) for 2 months. Is there a gps tracker that she can keep in her backpack that will show me at home where is located? We have phone apps but she frequently lets her phone battery die. Any suggestions (so that a mom can sleep at night)?

Here's a low cost option: The SPOT Gen4 will send you a preprogrammed message with your daughter's GPS location. It has a tracking feature to map her progress. There's also an SOS button for emergencies. It does require a subscription plan to send messages, in addition to purchase price.
